WHAT IS HAPPENING?


Hommage to Ray Charles on 18th and 19th November 2005 at "Hotel Mercure Atria Compans de Toulouse"
In June 2004, the great Ray Charles, icone of the afro-americain music, disappeared.
The magnific movie "Ray" shows his life and his musical career and won quite few Oscars in Hollywood.
The pianist Antoine Pinilla-Munoz is one of Ray Charles' closed friend and his fan since he was 15 years old.
He was invited at "Jazz au Mercure" and will play with passion the biggest hit of the lost pianist and singer.

On 24th March, a special evening for the release of the movie "Ray" will take place at the DIAGONAL CENTRE.

For a start on 23rd February, honour to music with a hommage to Ray Charles with the gifted trio Antoine PINILLA-MUNOZ..."
Program of the night
7pm: Drink and concert at "la brasserie du Dome"
8.30pm: Jazz concert "The Ray" at the cinemal Diagonal centre.
Antoine PINILLA-MUNOZ at the piano, Romain DELORME at the double-basse and Matthieu GARREAU at the drums.
9.30pm Viewing of the magestic movie Ray.

CONCERT OF JAZZ AT DÔME

The concert will take place on 11th January at 8.30pm in memory of the Tsunami.
The jazz trio A. PINILLA-MUNOZ will give a special presentation.
All monies collected (10 Euros entrance fee) will be fully transfered to UNICEF.
Also, Jean-Philippe PEREZ, owner of "brasserie du Dome" and friend of the pianist will add 5 Euros per paid entrance fees..

RAY CHARLES would almost certainly have appreciated this gesture.
The concert will be in honour to the great RAY. A. PINILLA-MUNOZ is already the composer of a CD in hommage to RAY CHARLES.
He was noticed by Ray Charles who said "I met him twice, he was fabulous!"  (La Gazette de Montpellier)

Antoine PINILLA-MUNOZ at the Dome.
On tuesday 11th January Antoine PINILLA-MUNOZ and his trio, will give a concert in memory of the Tsunami.
All monies collected on the night (10 Euros entrance fee + 5 Euros per entrance fee paid by Jean-Philippe PEREZ, owner of the brasserie and friend of the musiciens)
will be transfered to UNICEF.
The trio plays Jazz with blues, Be-Bop and RNB.
"It's the most authentical hommage that has ever been given" said RAY CHARLES in "the Ray", A. PINILLA-MUNOZ's album for the Genius in 2000.
A nice compliment and a reference.

BILAN DU CONCERT A.PINILLA-MUNOZ au DÔME

OUTCOME OF THE CONCERT A. PINILLA-MUNOZ AT THE DOME
80 personnes attended this concert in support of Asia and in memory to the Tsunami.
To the monies of 800 Euros received by the generous audience, Jean-Philippe PEREZ, owner of the "brasserie du Dome" added 400 Euros from his own.
It was a cheque of 1,200 Euros that Jean-Philippe PEREZ gave to UNICEF.
Thanks to all that have helped us to realize this modest action of solidarity.
